RESOURCES – Charaiveti – Charaiveti

When Buddha gave discourses, he always ended with the words ‘Charaiveti, Charaiveti.’ It means: go on, go on.
This way, he reminded his disciples to keep moving, growing, and evolving, regardless of the challenges or successes.
Thus highlighting that Life is a continuous journey, towards and after awakening.

Like the monks in Buddha’s time, modern seekers will experience moments of bliss, insights, and painful experiences.
Meditation has been an important part of the path. And then and now, the focus was and is from going on the automatic pilot to conscious presence.
But what worked for Buddha’s sannyasins may no longer work for people living in this modern time.

Nowadays, the temptations to stray, become addicted, get distracted, get confused, or get overwhelmed have multiplied.
It means that many seekers will meet big or small ‘roadblocks’ on their way home.

Not literally, but mostly because we are unconscious about the mental patterns we use to navigate through life.

The purpose of the following pages is to support fellow travelers to recognize these mental roadblocks

so that you can find ways to experience them as signals to go on, go on towards your inner freedom.

“Charanbai madhu vindati charantsvadu mudambaram.
Suryasya pasya sreemanam yo na tandrayate charan.
Charaiveti, charaiveti.”

While walking one finds honey, while walking one tastes the delicious fruits.
Behold the grandeur of the sun, which never tires of traveling.
Keep walking, keep walking.”
